Abstract/Description: | Mignon Levine Rubenovitz's papers consists of biographical and autobiographical writings; notes and speeches; correspondence, including a group of congratulatory letters on the publication of Winecup and Book in 1946; clippings documenting Mrs. Rubenovitz's activities and reviews of her books; printed material; and the text of Herman Rubenovitz's valedictory speech, delivered at his graduation from the Jewish Theological Seminary in 1908. The file of programs and invitations (1913-1955) chiefly document events at Temple Mishkan Tefilah, including its library and museum; the Boston chapter of Hadassah; the New England region of Hadassah; the Women's School for Jewish Studies, Hebrew Teachers College, Boston; and the Maimonides Octocentennial Committee (1935). Of note is a small, handwritten, illustrated dedication program, signed by Bertha Rubin and dated 1907, presumably of Mishkan Tefilah. | |
