Fritz Alexander Rothschild was ordained at the Jewish Theological Seminary in 1955, and received his Doctor of Hebrew Letters in 1968. He began at the Seminary as associate professor of Jewish Philosophy in the Teachers Institute in 1960, and in 1990, he received the title of Professor Emeritus.
