Abstract/Description: The Yehuda Ratzaby Collection consists of materials that have been gathered by Ratzaby as documentary evidence relating to the Yemenite communities, as well as their leaders, in Yemen and in Palestine from the late 19th century through the mid-20th century. Most prominently represented are letters and official documents issued by various Yemenite communal and legal institutions. Also included are some unpublished works by Abraham Arusi, a distinguished Yemenite folklorist.
