Abstract/Description: The Eugene Markovitz Collection consists of correspondence about the publication of Markovitz's biography of Abraham Piza Mendes, as well as chapters from the book. It also includes a reprinted copy of "Henry Pereira Mendes: Architect of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America", from the American Jewish Historical Quarterly (Vol. LV, No. 3, March 1966).
