Abstract/Description: The Indura, Poland Collection consists of materials Abraham Karp was collecting on his hometown in Poland. There are materials of the Jewish community of Indura, Poland including letters sent from the Jewish “Vaad Hakahal,” to the Indura relief committee in New York. The collection also contains protocols of the Indura help society meetings’ concerning the distribution of funds donated by the American relief committee. There are also lists of the receivers of funds, the amount they were given and the reason. The second part of the collection contains personal correspondence of Rabbi Meir Zvi Yelin of Indura about publication of books.
