Abstract/Description: The Israel Brandmann Music Scores and Papers consists of over ninety concert programs and announcements, 1922-1936; professional photographs, ca. 1930-1938; and a blue velvet portfolio with an inscribed silver harp of David, 1920, that contains congratulatory letters and certificates praising Brandmann's musical ensemble Kadimah, 1918-1922. Also included are unpublished manuscripts; three Hebrew language pieces, ca. 1938; one of his father's compositions, ca. 1919; published scores from the J.T.S. Library's circulating collection, 1930-1935; photocopies of his published and unpublished scores held by other libraries, 1930-1935; and photocopies of several additional concert programs, 1919-1964.
