Ms. The blessings are written in three columns and include: the three blessings recited before the megillah reading, ha-Rav et Rivenu, an excerpt from Shoshanat Yaʻaḳov and Ḳore Megilah; according its provenance note (transcribed below), this item accompanied an Esther scroll. Decoration: A continuous arcade of three round arches frames the megillah's blessings. Each of the yellow arches is outlined in orange, and is embellished with orange foliate scrolls. The four supporting columns have light blue shafts, carried on orange and yellow square bases and topped by blue and gold capitals. Each of the three text columns within the arcade is surmounted by an opening word, written decoratively in large gold letters. A wide rectangular frame filled with large orange, yellow and pink flowers carried on ocre-colored stems surrounds the central arcade. A gold and blue crown occupies the frame's top center. At bottom center is an orange- and peach-colored wreath that Decoration executed in watercolor and gold paint The numbers "3146 D" and "00039" are written in pencil on the back of the panel.
