Abstract/Description: Amy Kalmanofsky, dean of List College and the Gershon Kekst Graduate School at the Jewish Theological Seminary, was interviewed by Naomi Steinberger on July 27, 2021, for the Collecting These Times oral history project. Dean Kalmanofsky, who lives in New York City, discussed sending students home, students' resilience, faculty adjustments to teaching virtually, and the decision-making process for teaching hybrid vs. complete remote. She also speaks about her role as a board member of the Abraham Joshua Heschel School in New York City and as wife of Rabbi Jeremy Kalmanofsky, of Congregation Ansche Chesed in New York City.
